Tax Free and Retail prices, how does that work?

In order for all artwork and products to be tax free, it has to leave the country. If you want it sent or picked up within New Zealand, you must pay retail. If you purchase in store at the Auckland International Airport and don’t want to carry your goods with you on your travels, you have a few options;

1. Have it sent to you tax free outside of New Zealand.

2. Have it sent to you retail within New Zealand.

3. Goods to be collected in Auckland and stay in Auckland. Pay retail and collect goods at our pick up point at the Auckland International Airport, located outside of arrivals/security at our Artport Office.

4. goods to be collected in Auckland but fly out of Auckland again. Pay tax free and collect in the Artport physical store. This is usually for customers in transit or flying out of Auckland again at a later date.

What are your options for payments?

All payments are processed by Direct Payment Solutions – DPS guaranteed for a secure gateway. We accept bank deposits and a wide range of credit cards including Amex and Diners. Artport Online prices are in NZD and can be changed to your selected currency located on top left hand side corner of our website.

 

What’s the difference between your Artport physical store and Artport Online?

Artport Online is our virtual tax free store allowing no premium costs on site. The Artport physical store gives you the experience and convenience of New Zealand artwork on hand then and there. Artport Online must be sent to your delivery address with no pick -ups and can be more competitive than our prices in store.

Do you have any physical stores I can visit?

Yes we sure do. Were located at the Auckland International Airport – only catch is you have to be a passenger departing Auckland. The Artport physical store is on Level One, through security (Airside). The next best thing though is Artport Online for you to experience tax free New Zealand artwork and products on demand.

 

Where are your products and artwork from?

We pride ourselves in New Zealand made and owned art/products. We have a wide selection of prestigious New Zealand artists and designers across the country offering our customers the best quality of artwork. The other is New Zealand inspired products providing the bread and butter for our local artists to display there work in our Artport store.

Availability of Artport Product

If you have seen a product in our Artport physical store and unable to find it on our Artport online store, please feel free to email us at info@artport.co.nz. We will make it available to you as soon as we are able to or make an enquiry if you see a product out of stock.

Framed Glass Artwork

Unfortunately, we cannot deliver framed glass artwork outside of Auckland because our delivery services do not provide insurance. If you purchase framed artwork, you can only have this delivered within Auckland at cost or collected at our pick up point in our Auckland Airport office.
